J.P. Snyder, President
J.P. grew up playing in the waves in Ponte Vedra, Florida.
His first job was washing dishes at an Italian restaurant, where he learned the value of hard work and some of the rigors of business ownership.
Following in his grandfather’s footsteps, J.P. served as a Logistics Officer in the US Marine Corps after graduating from Virginia Tech. He specialized in supply chain and equipment maintenance management, spearheading operations across the Pacific.
After getting orders to Hawaii, he knew he was home. It was at his new home surf break on base, North Beach, where Heleloa Group got its name. Before the US military rezoned the area, that corner of the Mokapu Peninsula was originally named Heleloa Beach. Meaning to go far in Hawaiian, J.P. hopes to do the same by committing to investment in Hawaii for generations to come.
Since leaving active duty, he has remained on island helping build ZeroEyes, a weapons detection company, where he built a regional Headquarters on Oahu, and has a mission to stop mass shootings.
With family in both Jacksonville and Honolulu he is now looking to continue to sow seeds by acquiring and operating a small business to steward for generations to come.
J.P. is also a graduate of the Shidler College of Business at UH-Manoa with his MBA, and currently splits time between Ponte Vedra and Honolulu.
